HOW TO REACH US
The research station is located in the center of Le Forna, on the island of Ponza, province of Latina, Italy.
Trains: Line from Roma Termini/Tiburtina to Formia-Gaeta (direction Naples). Consult the train timetables on the Ferrovie dello Stato (Trenitalia) website.

From the train station it is possible to walk down to the port of Formia (about 1 km).
​
To get to Ponza you can take either the ferry (2.5 - 3 hours) or the motorboat (1 hour). Check timetables and rates on the Laziomar website.
Bus stop
​
Once you arrive at the port of Ponza there will be a bus waiting for arrivals near the ticket office: your stop will be at the church of Le Forna.

To access the station, you have to climb a flight of steps from the roadside that leads up the hill.
