Domenica 31 marzo è stato per noi un giorno da ricordare, perchè abbiamo raggiunto non uno ma ben tre record:
1. maggior numero di uccelli nelle reti entrato in una sola ora: pettirossata serale con 570 uccelli inanellati di cui il 99% erano pettirossi;
2. maggior numero di catture totali di giornata nel mese di marzo (1365 in tutto!);
3. maggior numero di Pettirossi catturati in un solo giorno
Grazie a tutto il team di volontari e aiutanti che ci hanno permesso di affrontare una tale giornata di attività alla stazione di Ponza!
On Sunday the 31st of March we had a great day which will go down in history, since we set 3 records:
1. highest number of birds entered in 0ur nets in just one hour: in the evening we got 570 birds to ring, of which 99% were robins;
2. the highest number of total captures in one day in March (1365 in total!);
3. maximum number of robins captures in a day
Thanks to all the team of volunteers and helpers who allowed us to face such a day of activities at the station of Ponza!
