Domani mattina inizieremo il montaggio della stazione che consiste nel posizionamento dei transetti, ovvero della sistemazione delle reti ai loro posti. Ogni transetto viene posizionato nello stesso luogo degli anni scorsi, per permettere una comparabilità dei dati negli anni. Hanno posizioni e esposizioni diverse, questo anche per diversificare e ampliare le possibilità di cattura. Abbiamo quindi reti immerse nella macchia mediterranea, reti poste sul crinale, reti esposte alla brezza marina....
Ad ogni rete, per facilitare la comunicazione di informazioni e per agevolare l'orientamento degli operatori, è stato attribuito un nome: Lalla, President, Amazzonia, Hulk,...
Le reti sono solo una delle parti della stazione a cui provvedere: si sistemeranno gli alloggi e l'appartamento di appoggio presso la stazione, si monterà la tenda di inanellamento - la vera cella operativa - e si prepareranno tutti gli strumenti del mestiere: le pinze per stringere gli anelli, le schede su cui registrare i dati, il terzometro, la bilancia,...
C'è tanto da fare, ma il CISCA team è sempre stato attorniato da validi aiutanti, perciò GRAZIE a tutti coloro che contribuiranno a fare anche di questa stagione migratoria una grande stagione di ricerca!

Nets are placed according to different positions and exposures, to diversify and expand the possibilities of capture. We, therefore, have nets immersed in the Mediterranean scrub, placed on the ridge of the cliff, exposed to the sea breeze .... To each net, to facilitate communication of information and to facilitate the orientation of the operators, it has been given a name: Lalla, President, Amazon, Hulk, ...
The networks are only one of the parts of the station to which provide tomorrow: we will prepare the accommodations for volunteers and the apartment at the station, we will mount the ringing tent - the real operative cell - and prepare all the tools of the trade: the pliers to tighten rings, the sheets on which to record the data, the rulers and the balance, ...
