Can you tell the difference between the Great reed warbler on the first pic and the one in the second pic, which has been both caught today? Can't you?! So, we will tell you: the second one is a Great reed warbler already ringed in Hungary!!!
Negli ultimi due giorni abbiamo totalizzato poche catture giornaliere, con un andamento di 4-6 uccelli per ora, ma abbiamo potuto inanellare alcune specie interessanti. Infatti, come vedete dalle foto, abbiamo preso il primo Beccafico della stagione (specie normalmente più abbondante fra le nostre catture annuali), un bellissimo esemplare di Luì bianco, un Assiolo e un Verdone.
In the last two days we caught few birds, at a rate of 4-6 per hour, but we got some interesting species among them. As you can see from the pics we got the first Garden warbler of the season (which normally is the most abundant species among our annual captures at the end of the season), a wonderful Bonelli's warbler, a Scops owl and a Greenfinch.
