Una volta provata l'emozione dell'inanellamento, ci confermerete anche voi, che ogni opportunità è buona per visitare una stazione di inanellamento.
Infatti, il nostro Max, la settimana scorsa, ha visitato l'inanellatore Peder Kinberg, il quale gestisce la stazione di 'Grosshamn' in Svezia, sull'omonima isola.
La specie target delle catture era il Succiacapre, poichè si sta svolgendo il censimento di questa specie. L'attività di inanellamento si è svolta in orario serale/notturno. Le reti, in tutto e per tutto come quelle che usiamo anche noi a Ponza, sono state montate alle 10 di sera in una zona boscosa vicino al mare. Si sono accesi i richiami per attirare il maschio di Succiacapre. E' stato catturato un esemplare maschio già inanellato nel 2014 a 2 km dal luogo in cui si erano montate le reti quella sera.

Once you feel the emotion of ringing, you will also confirm to us that every opportunity is good to visit a ringing station. In fact, our Max, last week, visited the ringer Peder Kinberg, who runs the 'Grosshamn' station in Sweden, on the homonymous island. The target species of the catch was the Nightjar, since they are carrying on the census of this species currently. The ringing activity took place in the evening/night time. The nets are of the same type as those we use at Ponza, and they were installed at 10 pm in a woodland area near the sea. Playback calls were used to attract the males of Nightjar. A wonderful specimen has been captured and it was already been ringed in 2014 in a very closeby place: 2 km far from the capture site of this week.
