Neanche il mese di maggio ci da tregua, e un po' come sta accadendo in tutta Italia, il maltempo continua a colpire l'isola di Ponza.
Oggi vento e pioggia ci hanno costretto nuovamente a chiudere le reti er l'intera giornata.
May isn't a better month in terms of weather, and, as the rest of Italy, also the island of Ponza is still beiung hit by the bad weather.
Today the wind and the rain forced us to close the nets all day long.
Nei giorni passati i numeri di catture hanno seguito un po' un trend discendente: se sabato 11 maggio abbiamo riempito 43 schede (645 uccelli circa), I giorni a seguire hanno visto totali di 90 uccelli (domenica 12), 45 (lunedì13) e 75 uccelli (ieri, martedì 14).
During the past days the number of our catches dropped down: on Saturday the 11th we fulfilled 43 sheets (645 birds more or less), on Sunday th 12th we ringed almost 90 birds, 45 on Monday the 13th and 75 on Tuesday the 14th.
Fra le specie inanellate, spicca il bellissimo esemplare di giovane falco lodolaio nelle foto.
