La stagione di inanellamento 2022 a Ponza si è conclusa il 26 maggio 2022.
E' stata una stagione strabiliante: la seconda migliore nella storia dell'attività della stazione di Ponza con un totale di 23595 uccelli inanellati in 92 giorni di inanellamento.
Per soli 90 uccelli non abbiamo raggiunto il record!
Maggio in particolare, è stato un tour de force con molti giorni di attività intensa e un cospicuo numero di uccelli inanellati, i quali sono arrivati alle reti principalmente da metà giornata a fine giornata.
Abbiamo anche aggiunto due specie mai catturate prima alla nostra lista con l'Albanella pallida (Circus macrourus) e il Culbianco di Seebohm (Oenanthe seebohmi).
The 2022 ringing season in Ponza ended on May the 26th, 2022.
It was an amazing season: the second best in the history of Ponza station's activity with a total of 23595 birds ringed in 92 days of ringing.
For only 90 birds we have not reached the record!
We've also added two never-before-caught species to our list with the Pale Harrier (Circus macrourus) and the Atlas wheatear (Oenanthe seebohmi).
May has been a tour-de-force with many days at high pace activity and many many birds, coming to the nets mainly from the middle to the end of the day.
Il tempo è stato piuttosto brutto e tempestoso nella prima parte della stagione, ma da fine aprile si è stabilizzato e ha fatto molto caldo.
The weather has been quite bad and stormy in the first part of the season, but stabilised and got very hot from the end of April!
Ma soprattutto questa del 2022 appena conclusa è stata la stagione in cui siamo ritornati ad ammettere volontari in maniera regolare, sempre rispettando le regole e le disposizioni relative alla pandemia da Covid-19. Sono stati 50 in tutto i partecipanti al progetto oltre a numerosi turisti appassionati e curiosi e le annuali visite delle Scuole Medie di Ponza. Se le nostre attività di ricerca e conservazione hanno luogo è solo grazie al supporto di tutte le persone che contribuiscono direttamente o indirettamente, e quindi cogliamo l'occasione per ringraziare tutti di cuore!
Terminato l'inserimento dei dati, ci aspetta un po' di riposo, ma torneremo presto a metterci in moto per organizzare la prossima stagione che ci aspetta, dove speriamo di vedervi partecipare numerosi!

But above all, the 2022 season was the one we returned to admit volunteers on a regular basis, always respecting the rules and provisions relating to the Covid-19 pandemic. In total, there were 50 participants in the project as well as numerous passionate and curious tourists, not forgetting the annual visits of the Ponza Middle Schools.
If our research and conservation activities take place it is only thanks to the support of all the people who contribute to our activites directly or indirectly, and, therefore, we take this opportunity to thank everyone from the heart!
Once the data has been entered, a bit of rest awaits us, but we will be back soon to start to organize the next season that awaits us, when we hope to see you all on te island!
